Last month, TROY was presented with an Outstanding Partner Award at the HP 2009 IPG Solutions Partner Conference. The awards recognize HP solution partners who have exceeded the standards of partnering excellence in areas of new technology development, solution innovation and sales contribution over the past year. This award was only one of three awards presented at the conference to members of the HP Solutions Business Partner Program, which consists of approximately 113 leading solutions provider companies. John Johasky, Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Solutions and Services, Imaging and Printing Group, HP; cited the significant innovations of the Secure MICR MFP and the SecureRx solutions as one of the two reasons for TROY receiving this important honor. The second reason cited TROY’s broad based efforts in collaborating with HP at engineering, marketing, sales, service and support levels to secure new business for HP and TROY.

TROY SecurePort™ Monitor, used in conjunction with TROY MICR and TROY Security Printers, is an intelligent print workflow utility, enabling TROY’s industry leading on-demand document security features, and providing print dataflow routing for effective use of premium printing supplies. TROY SecurePort Monitor™ software is being used by major Healthcare originations to facilitate the integration of the TROY SecureRx solution with their Electronic Medical Record systems. It is also being used by a leading bank to control print job routing- from their teller platform to their TROY MICR check printers, which is estimated to save over $20,000 a month in MICR toner cost across their entire branch network.

• In June, TROY and Hewlett Packard were awarded a major international bank contract for providing MICR check printing solutions for use in over 4,000 branch and back-office locations. • Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg VA is the first Meditech user that has implemented the TROY SecureRx solution in their facility. They have elected to install first in their Emergency Department and have plans to expand to all of their 20 clinic locations. Already their doctors have seen tremendous benefits in simplifying the patient discharge workflow, not to mention eliminating the expensive pre-printed prescription paper. Rockingham is one of 20 healthcare organizations implementing the TROY SecureRx solution, printing secure prescriptions directly from one of the 10 EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software systems that TROY has successfully integrated the SecureRx solution.
