| Document Authentication
The REAL ID Act of 2005 has added pressure to the states vital records offices due to the birth certificate verification requirement that must be completed for driver license issuance. In order to help vital records administrators provide registrars with additional authentication features for this requirement, bar codes and security fonts can be applied during certificate printing.
TROY Security Toner can also be used as a simple authentication tool in this process by allowing driver license registrars to easily spot alteration attempts, or to check a certificate for authenticity by activating the red dye on a specific area of the certificates.
To further protect against alteration and replication, vital records administrators can use TROY Security Printers to add TROY exclusive print on-demand security features like variable data, watermarks, microprint, and copy evident pantographs to every printed certificate. |
